ABOUT US
North Star has been the pioneering provider of outdoor education in the Middle East since our Director Paul Flaherty established the company in 1997. Paul has more than 40 years of experience in many areas of the outdoors; half of which was spent in the British Army where, in his final years, he served as a senior SAS instructor teaching in extreme environments. Throughout our company history, safety has always been and will always be our top priority!
Health & Safety
Safety overrides all other considerations
Our Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures are updated frequently to ensure we operate inline with the UK industry health and safety standards
Our instructors are all first aid trained and will always carry first aid packs on each trip
Each of our venues are located within at least 1 hours drive of the nearest hospital
All staff are trained and assessed in each of our activities
Our equipment is of high quality, checked prior to each use, extensively each month and upgraded regularly
